Build the certificates and checklists you actually use
Gafferly ships two certificates built in, CP12 gas safety records and EICRs. Every other document your trade needs, whether that is a commissioning sheet, an F-Gas logbook entry, a RAMS, a service record or your own handover pack, you build in the form builder with the fields, photo evidence and signatures you want, and make it compulsory before a job can be closed.

How it works
- Build the form once with the fields your trade needs
- Attach it to the job types it applies to
- The engineer fills it on site, with photos and a signature
- It cannot be skipped if you make it compulsory
- The completed form sits on the job and the property record
What it does not do
- This is a builder, not a library. Gafferly does not ship a ready-made set of EIC, Minor Works, PAT, emergency lighting, fire alarm, solar PV or EV charger certificates. You build what you need. If you want those supplied and maintained for you, Tradify publishes a much wider certificate library and that is a fair reason to choose them.
- Forms you build are yours. Gafferly does not certify that a form you have created satisfies a particular standard or scheme.

Common questions
Does Gafferly have EIC or Minor Works certificates built in?
No. CP12 and EICR are the two built-in certificates. EIC, Minor Works and everything else are forms you build yourself. That is a real difference from Tradify, which publishes a ready-made library covering EIC, Minor Works, PAT, emergency lighting, fire alarm, solar PV and EV charger certificates. If breadth of supplied certificates is what decides it, they cover more ground than we do.
Can I make a form compulsory?
Yes. Set it as required on a job type and the job cannot be closed without it, which is usually the only reliable way to make sure the evidence exists on every visit rather than most of them.
