A plumber doing notifiable work has to notify the water undertaker before starting, with a ten working day deemed-consent clock, which turns a compliance task into a scheduling constraint.

How the work arrives
Reactive-heavy for domestic firms and planned-heavy the more commercial work they carry. Emergencies are unplannable by definition, insurance and trace-and-access work carries an evidence burden most trades never see, and unvented annual services have no legal stick behind them so nobody books them unless you chase.
How the year runs
November to February is the reactive peak, and the trigger is a sudden cold snap rather than sustained cold. A hard overnight freeze produces a week of burst pipes and a diary nobody planned.
Where Gafferly stops, for this trade

- Gafferly does not submit Regulation 5 notifications to the water undertaker. It can hold the job and the paperwork, but the notification is yours to send.
- It ships no plumbing-specific certificate built in. CP12 and EICR are the two built-in documents and neither is a plumber's. Everything here is form builder work.
