Quote templates & the page library

Open Templates in the menu. This is the home for everything reusable about your quotes.

Templates

A template is a ready-made quote: line items, written pages, design and optional extras. Start a new one, or open a quote you're proud of and save it as a template. Starting a new quote from a template fills everything in, you just adjust and send.

Proposal design

In the template editor, the Proposal design section sets how the customer's link looks: a cover image, a headline, your accent colour and a style (Classic, Modern or Bold). The web view, the print view and the PDF always match.

The page library

On the Templates screen, the Page library holds pages you reuse across templates: your terms, your process, an about-us page. Write a page once, add it to any template with its Pages button. Edit a library page later and Gafferly shows which templates use it, then updates them only when you say so. Quotes you've already sent never change behind your back.

Optional extras

Mark quote lines as optional extras and the customer picks them when accepting, with the total updating live. Give each extra a photo and a warranty note in the builder, extras with photos get chosen more. See Quotes & proposals for how customers experience it.

Preview before you trust it

Every template has a preview with two views: Web (what the customer's link looks like) and A4 / PDF (the actual paginated PDF, real page breaks and all).
