Company details, VAT & numbering

The legal and money basics every quote and invoice carries.

These live across two settings screens, here's exactly where.

Business details

Go to Settings → Payments and fill in the Business details card: company name, address, phone, email, VAT number, and your bank details if you want customers to see them for bank transfers. These print on every quote, invoice and the customer pay page.

Registration number and VAT behaviour

Go to Settings → Quoting & branding. Your company registration number sits under Branding, and under Quoting & VAT defaults you tell Gafferly whether you're VAT registered and your default rate. Not registered? Documents simply show no VAT, and nothing you send will claim otherwise.

Numbering

Still under Quoting & VAT defaults, set your quote and invoice number formats. Use {n} for the running number: a format of INV-{n} produces INV-1042, INV-1043 and so on. The prefix and pattern are yours to change; the running number continues from Gafferly's own sequence.

Next: logo, colours, website & trust badges.
