Completing a job on site

When an engineer finishes, they complete the job from the job page or their Today screen. It all works offline, so a basement with no signal is fine, everything syncs when they reconnect.

The steps

1. On arrival (or before starting), tap Add before photo to record how things looked. With no signal the photo queues on the device with a "waiting for signal" note and uploads later.
2. When the work is done, open Complete the job and write what was done in the work box.
3. Add any after photos the same way, and check the parts list is right.
4. Tap Review with customer and hand them the phone. They see the work carried out, the before and after photos and the parts used, then sign (or you note that they were not available or declined).
5. Tap Complete job. The customer is sent a tidy job sheet, and the job is ready for the office to raise the invoice.

Prefer not to involve the customer? Use Complete without customer sign-off instead (your firm can require a signature in settings, which removes that option).

What the customer signed

The signed job sheet is frozen at sign-off: the wording, photos and parts the customer reviewed never change afterwards. Photos uploaded later show separately as added after sign-off, and the staff view and PDF always match what the customer saw.
